Gary Webb – PGCert MCPod ACC HCPC Reg’d

Chiropody and Podiatry

Gary is a qualified HCPC Registered Chiropodist and Podiatrist and a full member of the Royal College of Podiatry. Gary has been involved in foot and lower limb care since 1999, initially through the ACP. Gary was grand parented onto the Health Care Register around 2005. Gary then completed a Local Anaesthetic enabling Course and exam with the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists

Gary graduated in Local Anaesthesia and Nail Surgery with The Glasgow Caledonian University in 2006. Gary then went onto graduate with a Post Graduate Certificate in Podiatric Musculoskeletal Medicine and a Foundation in Podiatric Acupuncture in 2008. Gary also has a keen interest in Gait Analysis, Biomechanics and Orthotics therapy and in Radiolase surgery. He is a very experienced Podiatrist working in many healthcare settings such as an NHS surgery, private clinics, hospitals, nursing care, day centres and domiciliary care. Gary has a Certificate in Counselling and a Diploma in Stress management, which he believes makes him a better practitioner. He works alongside his wife Janet.

Gary’s main interest outside Podiatry is in the traditional martial arts of Karate and Tai Chi Chuan. He has trained in Shotokan Karate since 1981 under many of the country’s leading teachers. Gary attained his 1st Dan Black Belt under Master Vernon Bell and his 2nd and 3rd Dan from Master Nick Adamou. He then after a very bad car crash in the late nineties went onto train in Yang Style Tai Chi and Qigong under Dave Hope and the Chinese teachers Chan-Pensley’s and then the World-renowned Master Bob Fermor. He is qualified to teach the art.

 

Janet Webb – Foot Health and Reflexologist

Janet has been working alongside her husband Gary for the past 10 years now. Janet is a qualified Foot Health Practitioner and qualified in Reflexology through the Hitchin College.

Janet does the Administration, completes the new patient forms, and does the sterilising of instruments. She has a very calm manner which helps to put the patient at ease whilst they are undergoing treatment.

Janet has also trained in Tai Chi for many years alongside her husband Gary. She is qualified to teach the art.
